The Devil's Fineman Chapter 1 Part 3:Slender

"I saw him, I saw the boogeyman!" said the kid. Raven was interviewing one of the kids that were walking near the forest. "Can you describe this boogeyman?" asked Raven. "Can I draw it?" asked the kid. Raven checked in his desk for a piece of paper and a box of crayons. The boy started drawing. Raven tried looking at it but the boy kept hiding it. "It's a suprise!" said the boy. The boy finished up the last part and showed it to Raven. "What the hell is that?" Raven said to himself. The drawing had a very tall man with slender features and was wearing a tuxedo with a black tie and had tentacles on it's back. Worst of all the creature had no face. "I saw him in my dream last night, then when I went walking with my mom I saw him hiding behind a tree." said the boy. "Can you tell me where you saw him?" asked Raven. "I saw him a couple of minutes away from Woodpecker Preschool." said the boy. "Thank you for helping me kid, you want a piece of candy?" asked Raven. The boy nodded in excitement. Raven gave the boy a cherry tootsie pop. "Thank you sir!" said the boy. And he walked out of the police station with his mom.
Raven got on his computer to find Woodpecker Preschool. When he searched it up he found out it was 10 minutes away from the police station. "What are you looking at?" asked Vince. "The little boy I interviewed said he saw the creature near his preschool Woodpecker Preschool." said Raven. "What time is it?" asked Vince. Raven looked at the clock on his computer. "7:34 PM, should we investigate?" asked Raven. Vince smiled and laughed. "Hell yeah!" said Vince.


Raven grabbed his police gear and got in the car. It started to become dark and Vince was taking too long. Vince came to the car and got in. "Sorry, couldn't find my gear." said Vince. Raven started driving and looked at the clock. "Holy sh*t, 9:57!" said Raven. Raven saw the preschool up ahead and stopped the car. Raven and Vince walked inside the preschool, their was a lady sitting at the desk. "Hey m'am were going to be checking the woods nearby so don't freakout if you see something." said Raven. The lady nodded. "Be careful, it's chilly out there!" said the lady. Raven and Vince nodded. When they walked into the forest Vince grabbed his flashlight out. "Make sure you got a round in the chamber, okay?" asked Raven. Vince checked his gun and it was fully loaded. They didn't see anything or hear anything, they only heard the sound of crickets and saw nothing but trees. Vince was sweating very much. "Whoa, whoa hey you okay?" asked Raven. Vince fell to the ground unconscious. "Stay with me buddy!" said Raven. Raven gave Vince some water. Raven heard a noise from behind him, he pointed the flashlight towards the noise. He saw the 5 kids that they saw in the woods the yesterday. They were dragging a little boy, but Raven couldn't identify who it was. "Stop where you are NOW." demanded Raven. The kids just stood there and did nothing. Raven pointed his gun in the air and shot a bullet to scare the kids, but they made no move. A loud noise came from behind the kids and they ran. 

When they ran away Raven looked at the little boy and found that he had a tootsie roll in his hand. "Hey wake up kid!" said Raven. Raven looked back at Vince, Vince was still breathing but the kid wasn't. He also noticed the weird circle with an x in it on his head. "Why would they do this?" wondered Raven. Raven looked up and saw something staring at him from a distance. It looked like the man the little boy drew. Raven grabbed his pistol and pointed at the man. But it teleported, when Raven looked back at Vince he was gone...
